Children’s Residential Home
Ocean View Banff is a children’s residential home located on the beautiful coastline of the North-East of Scotland. The scenic landscape provides the perfect location for children to enjoy the great outdoors with beautiful beaches only a five minute walk from the house. The seaside town of Banff provides all the necessary amenities to ensure children can create happy memories which lasts into adulthood. The team at Ocean View have over 100 years combined experience caring and supporting children with complex social and emotional needs. With an emphasis on relational practice, we provide a person-centred, nurturing, homely environment to the children in our care.
At Ocean View, we focus on empowering children and young people to enhance their social, emotional, independence and functional skills, enabling them to acquire coping mechanisms for the future, and take steps towards resilience and wellbeing. Our approach is relational, inclusive, therapeutic and a trauma informed, we demonstrate an understanding of our children's needs, and work to build lasting and meaningful relationships. We are committed to every young person in our care, offering stability and security. All services are tailored individually, alongside promoting a culture of togetherness and teamwork. We provide a warm, nurturing, family style environment which helps the children thrive.

Ocean View
A spacious, detached, modern house located in a quiet cul-de-sac within the town. Three, substantial bedrooms all with en-suites. The kitchen/dining area is open plan with plenty natural light. Large, cozy living room overlooking the sea. Additional games and computer room for the young people to enjoy. Fire detection system. Outdoor recreational space and a play park 100 metres from the house. Being located so close to the sea, dolphins are often spotted. If lucky enough, the dolphins will ride the waves alongside you on the house's boat or jet ski. Lots of fun is guaranteed in the summer months.
Boyndie House
We have a light, airy, and spacious detached three-bedroom house located in Banff, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment. The property benefits from a private south-facing garden, providing a bright outdoor space that can be enjoyed throughout the day.
Recently refurbished to a high modern standard, the house features contemporary finishes and a well-maintained interior, ensuring a safe and modern living space. Thoughtfully designed, it offers both comfort and functionality to meet the needs of the children and young people living there.
The property is used to accommodate children or young people on a one-to-one basis, allowing for personalised care and support within a calm and homely setting.
Tocher Flat
We have a two bedroom flat in the local area of Banff, featuring a modern interior throughout. The property includes a light, airy, and spacious lounge, along with a fully fitted modern kitchen and dinng area designed to meet all daily living needs.
The flat offers both a main modern bathroom and an en-suite in the second bedroom/office, providing comfort and convenience. Outside, there is a small garden area at both the front and rear of the property, offering additional outdoor space.
This flat is used for a variety of purposes, including emergency respite, one to one care, and both short term and long term accommodation for children and young people with complex, emotional, and social needs.

At Ocean View we understand every young person has different needs and goals. We offer a warm and nurturing environment with tailored care to suit every young person, providing stability, love and commitment.
Health and Wellbeing
At Ocean View we promote learning in health and wellbeing in order to ensure children and young people develop an understanding of the skills needed for positive social, mental, emotional and physical wellbeing now and in the future. We actively promote outdoor activities, with time spent at the local beach, walks through the forest, or outward day activities which offer outdoor fun (such as go-karting and zorbing).
We offer balanced nutritious meals, together with the input of the young people in our care. We encourage participation in baking within the home and provide guidance which allows the development of skills needed for our young people to function successfully in independence.
